Individuals wishing to become Adherent Members must complete and sign the Individual Adherent Membership Application and submit a scanned PDF copy by email to office@adjuris.ro, together with:

  • a detailed Curriculum Vitae;
  • a List of Scientific Publications.

APPLICATION FOR INDIVIDUAL ADHERENT MEMBERSHIP

Admission
Applications are reviewed by the Executive Leadership. Individual Adherent Membership is granted upon approval by at least two-thirds of the members of the Executive Leadership.
Applications are reviewed by the Executive Leadership. Adherent Membership is granted by a two-thirds majority vote of the Executive Leadership.

Benefits of Individual Adherent Membership

Individual Adherent Members benefit from:

  • enhanced academic visibility through a dedicated profile on the Society’s website, including their institutional affiliation, ORCID iD, Google Scholar profile, and institutional profile;
  • invitations and access to international scientific activities organised or supported by the Society;
  • reduced registration fees for conferences organised by the Society;
  • opportunities to join thematic research groups and participate in collaborative scientific initiatives developed within the Society;
  • opportunities to connect and exchange expertise with members of the Society’s international academic network.

Individual Adherent Members are required to pay annual membership dues of RON 300 if they reside in Romania or EUR 60 if they reside abroad.

INSTITUTIONAL ADHERENT MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility Requirements

 Institutional Adherent Membership is open to legal entities whose principal academic, research, professional, or public-interest activities are compatible with the aims of the Society. Eligible entities may include:

  • universities and other higher education institutions;
  • research institutes;
  • academic or professional associations;
  • non-governmental organisations;
  • public institutions;
  • other non-profit legal entities active in legal, administrative, or related fields.

 

How to Apply

Legal entities wishing to become Institutional Adherent Members must complete the Institutional Adherent Membership Application, signed by their legal representative, and submit it by email to office@adjuris.ro, together with:

  • a brief institutional profile;
  • the institution’s official website and logo;
  • the name and contact details of the authorised representative designated in relations with the Society.

 

APPLICATION FOR INSTITUTIONAL ADHERENT MEMBERSHIP

 

Admission and Representation

 Applications are reviewed by the Executive Leadership. Institutional Adherent Membership is granted upon approval by at least two-thirds of the members of the Executive Leadership.
Each Institutional Adherent Member shall designate one authorised representative in its relations with the Society.

 

Benefits of Institutional Adherent Membership

Institutional Adherent Members benefit from:

  • a dedicated institutional profile on the SJAS website, including the institution’s logo, official name, country, brief description, and website;
  • recognition as an Institutional Adherent Member of the Society and an annual membership certificate;
  • invitations and advance information concerning conferences, workshops, webinars, research initiatives, and other international scientific activities organised or supported by SJAS;
  • reduced participation fees for up to three representatives at conferences organised by the Society;
  • opportunities to participate in thematic research groups, international academic networks, and collaborative research initiatives;
  • the possibility to propose panels, workshops, conferences, or other scientific activities and, subject to approval by the Executive Leadership, to co-organise such activities with SJAS;
  • opportunities to establish academic partnerships and exchange expertise with other members of the Society’s international network.

Institutional membership does not automatically confer individual membership upon the institution’s employees or representatives.

Institutional Adherent Members are required to pay annual membership dues of RON 2,000 if their registered office is in Romania or EUR 400 if their registered office is outside Romania.

CORPORATE ADHERENT MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility Requirements

Corporate Adherent Membership is open to private-sector legal entities conducting commercial or professional activities compatible with the aims and values of the Society. Eligible entities may include:

  • companies;
  • law firms with legal personality;
  • legal and management consultancies;
  • academic and legal publishers;
  • professional training providers;
  • financial institutions;
  • LegalTech companies;
  • other businesses active in fields related to law, public administration, governance, compliance, dispute resolution, research, or education.

Legal entities wishing to become Corporate Adherent Members must complete the Corporate Adherent Membership Application, signed by their legal representative, and submit it by email to office@adjuris.ro, together with:

  • a brief corporate profile;
  • the entity’s official website and logo;
  • the name and contact details of the authorised representative designated in relations with the Society.

 

APPLICATION FOR CORPORATE ADHERENT MEMBERSHIP

Admission and Representation

 Applications are reviewed by the Executive Leadership. Corporate Adherent Membership is granted upon approval by at least two-thirds of the members of the Executive Leadership.

Each Corporate Adherent Member shall designate one authorised representative in its relations with the Society.

Corporate Adherent Members enjoy the general benefits granted to Institutional Adherent Members, adapted to the specific nature of the business and professional sector. These benefits include:

  • a dedicated corporate profile on the SJAS website, including the entity’s logo, official name, country, brief description, and website;
  • recognition as a Corporate Adherent Member of the Society and an annual membership certificate;
  • invitations and advance information concerning conferences, workshops, webinars, research initiatives, and other international scientific activities organised or supported by SJAS;
  • reduced participation fees for up to five designated representatives at conferences organised by the Society;
  • the opportunity to nominate qualified experts for participation in thematic research groups, applied research initiatives, and academic–professional consultations, subject to the applicable selection criteria;
  • participation in round tables and debates concerning current legal, regulatory, administrative, governance, compliance, and technological developments;
  • the possibility to propose and, subject to approval by the Executive Leadership, co-organise scientific events, workshops, or professional–academic dialogue initiatives;
  • opportunities to develop academic partnerships and exchange expertise within the Society’s international network.

Corporate membership does not automatically confer individual membership upon the entity’s shareholders, partners, employees, or representatives.

 

ACADEMIC AND EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

Adherent Membership does not guarantee:

  • publication in journals or books published or supported by the Society;
  • acceptance of conference, panel, or research project proposals;
  • appointment to research groups or scientific bodies;
  • speaking opportunities at events;
  • preferential treatment in editorial, peer-review, or programme-selection processes.

All academic, scientific, editorial, peer-review, and programme-selection decisions remain independent and are based exclusively on the applicable academic and professional criteria.

Corporate Adherent Membership does not include commercial advertising rights and does not constitute endorsement by SJAS of the member’s products, services, or opinions. Sponsorship and advertising arrangements are governed separately.
